Our Client is an international company headquartered in the US with a newly open business centre in Gdańsk. Their Procurement Operations Team is part of the Global Procurement and provides process across EMEA markets.
Your new role
As a Procurement Operations Manager you will be the central point of contact for overall EMEA procurement operations. You will execute processes and deliver exceptional service. You will lead and develop a team of procurement professionals, setting clear goals and creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture. In this role youwill serve as the primary contact for procurement related questions and act as an escalation point between the team and the stakeholders. You will manage procurement team: drive hiring, training & development and growth to meet expected objectives.As an expert you will identify and implement procurement process improvement, ensure that procurement processes are standardized and develop them that reflect simplicity andscalability.
As a part of Procurement Team you will take part in their daily tasks. You will be responsible for administrate procurement processes for the clients.Your will be responsible for overcasting, inventory management, purchase order management and vendor management with 3rd party providers. Additionally you will work with internal customers and suppliers, provide all relevant information and documents to support Contract Services, Strategic Sourcing and Legal in their reviews and negotiations.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you should have at least 5 years of experience in procurement functions with
experience in building and managing team. Our Client is looking for a Team Leader capable of “leading by doing”. Knowledge of SAP/Ariba, proficient in Excel and good analytical skills are required. You should have strong communication and collaboration skills in English. Fluency in another European language will be an advantage. You should be customer and result oriented person and have good listening skills and proven experience in problem resolution.BS/MS degree required.
