For our Client, international non-food producer, we are looking for Head of Procurement who will be responsible for organizing and supervising purchasing functions within GPU PL - Direct Material Purchasing, Supplier Management and Business Excellence.
Overall, the selected Candidate will be reporting to board member and leading team of over 100 people with 6 direct reports. The core duties will include: development and execution of purchasing strategies, moreover effective management of headcount and budget. This is key account role in Poland for Direct Material Purchasing and Supplier Management towards Global Organization.
As Head of Procurement the selected Candidate will be managing suppliers, building and maintaining relationships with vendors. In addition analysing and benchmarking markets in order to ensure access to innovation, new suppliers, ensuring competitiveness. Furthermore, the selected Candidate will be conducting a continuous improvement process including cross functional departments and support all GPU areas in task’s realization.
We are looking for Candidate with background experience on similar position. It is crucial to have strong leadership capabilities, procurement and supplier chain knowledge. Due to cooperation with global business units English language on business level is compulsory.
Manufacturing sites are based in different cities, therefore frequent travel within Poland and sometimes abroad will be required.
