Process Engineer
City: Poznań
Job Description:
- Development of typical documentation of project engineering phases (Basic Design, FEED and Detail Design):
- Process schemes such as PFDs, UFDs, P&IDs;
- Heat and Material Balances;
- Lists of equipment, lines, fluids, instruments, etc.;
- Issue of process and safety data sheets (Process Data Sheets) for both equipment and instrumentation;
- Calculation report of process system and utilities;
- Cause/Effect matrices, logic diagrams, process narratives and operational philosophies;
- Hydraulic sizing of the lines and main process equipment;
- Process simulations, using specific software;
- Verification and/or calculation of flare, vent and blowdown systems;
- Participation in HAZID (Hazards identification) and HAZOP (Hazard & Operability Analysis) sessions.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering (preferred).
- Polish native speaker and Conversant in business English.
- Work experience: 4-5 years gained in engineering Companies in the process area.
- Knowledge of International Design Company workflow & Engineering International Codes and Standards.
- Experience in process design & engineering, mastery of process engineering calculations, process simulation packages (such as HYSYS, ProII).
- Experience in thermodynamic calculations, design, rating, and simulation of heat exchangers, also by dedicated software (HTRI, Aspen EDR).
