Process and Product Engineer
Responsibility for product development according to company's technology portfolio. Impact on the operational activity of the department - be the only representative of the product business line in the Polish plant.
Client Details
Our client is an international organisation, a tier 1 manufacturer in the automotive industry, a well - renowned brand. Currently, due to a further company development, we are looking for talented, pro-business focused with engineering background and fluent German speaking individuals, who are eager to join a dynamic, high-end automotive company.
The person on this position will be reporting directly to the Head of Product Development and will be supporting German clients.
Description
- Define, validate and quote the optimal product concept according to company's technology portfolio
- Ensure successful Product Validation at Customer by optimising product, process and specifications in order to meet all the requirements
- Initiate tests and trials vs. critical characteristics whenever necessary
- Support and drive Design FMEA
- Evaluate any possible patent infringement risk involving the competent department
- Support the definition of minimum/optimal tooling and equipment requirements
- Ensure smooth and effective handover RFQ phase, through development and serial life
- Responsible for introduction of innovations in Customer projects
- Support engineering changes and continuous improvement from award until EOP
- Ensure profitable and smooth development
Profile
- Relevant experience in carpet products or textile products
- Engineer degree
- Fluent German and English
- Nice to have understanding of OEMs requirements and experience in the automotive industry (tier 1/ tier 2)
