Your new company
You will join an international, globally well-known company from the facility services industry, ISS World Services. We are searching for a Privacy Manager to support the Group Data Protection and Compliance Team with the Group Data Protection efforts.
The Group Data Protection and Compliance Team is based in Copenhagen, Denmark and Warsaw, Poland. You will be working from the ISS office in the centre of Warsaw.

Your new role
The OneISS Strategy includes dedicated roles in all countries to drive and sustain a compliance culture. The added internal focus on compliance, the increasing regulatory demands and customer requirements for seamless integration of customer demands into Group procedures necessitates a structured and mature approach to Governance and policies including Data Protection and Privacy.

Your key responsibilities will be:
• Provide expert advice and guidance across the group in relation to data protection and privacy
• Maintaining Group Data Protection Policies and Standards: Monitoring regulatory developments, ensuring updates and approvals.
• Local Data Protection Manager role for the ISS Warsaw Hub
• Perform data mapping, data protection impact assessments, access requests and handle data breaches.
• Participating in customer audits with responsibility for providing evidence on customer requirements for regulatory compliance (GDPR)
• Establishing and driving Group Data Protection Practice Groups for relevant, groupwide areas of regulatory compliance.
• Preparing guidelines and presentations to drive the compliance culture and ensuring awareness and e-learning to support the implementation of the Group Policies and Standards.
• Reporting to the relevant committees.

What you'll need to succeed
Legal background or Compliance background with focus on privacy and data protection
• Thorough understanding of GDPR. Knowledge of other data protection legislation is an advantage.
• Extensive data protection experience from advising on actual application of the privacy legislation,
• Privacy certification (e.g., CIPP/E) is an advantage
• Experience with governance and policy roll-out in international companies
• Experience with any of the fields anti-bribery, sanctions, data protection are advantages
• Experience with OneTrust or other legal/compliance tech solutions is an advantage
• Experience with managing projects, organizing project groups, and policy/document management is an advantage
• Fluent in English
