Job Description
• Assures the integration of the plant and a smooth transfer of the group’s best practices and standards;
• Leads by example – operates with an intense sense of urgency around daily execution of production fundamentals including efficiency, waste, quality, safety;
• Minimises costs by maximising resource utilisation, (e.g., people, equipment);
• Monitors results of the operations in the key areas;
• Resolves employee issues proactively – thus minimising grievances -by maintaining strong relationships with union employees;
• Holds a long-term vision of the plant and identifies growth opportunities, making recommendations for investment to meet capacity/expansion needs;
• Develops people.
Requirements
• Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline is preferred;
• 5+ years manufacturing experience including responsibility for management roles (preferable in FMCG, Automotive or Packaging Industry);
• Experience in optimising progresses and costs;
• Knowledge of the manufacturing processes;
• Experience in the process of integration / consolidation;
• Ability to recognize improvement opportunities;
• Change management acumen consolidation;
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and strong leadership skills;
• The Candidate must be able to interact with all people and promote teamwork among employees;
• Strategic thinker with a hands – on approach, excellent implementation ability;
• Ability to effectively manage diverse, conflicting priorities;
• Ability to effectively utilize people's skills;
• Ability and willingness to motivate a mix of people with diverse personalities to meet against expectations.
