Plant Manager - FMCG company (m/f)
The Plant Manager has overall responsibility for the manufacturing operations in production plant. The role is to coordinate, manage and direct all bottle production and bottling activities of company. As a member of Polish Senior Management Team candidate will participate in establishing and executing the company's strategy and targets. Plant Manager is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability

Our client is one of the market leader in its branch - FMCG (beverages sector). Production plant is located in Lodzkie area. The company's brand is enjoying significant growth - 20% per year.
Description
- Ensures that all operations are conducted in a safe way by making sure that all necessary procedures are developed and implemented in all operations
- Ensures optimal cooperation between all the departments to make the best use of the available resources
- Organize and support recruitment and placement of required staff. Delegate tasks and accountabilities. Establish work schedules. Supervise staff. Monitor, evaluate and develop performance.
- Coordinate and monitor the work of various departments involved in production, maintenance and quality of goods. Monitor performance and implement improvements.
- Responsible for the development, implementation and management of the appropriate operations models, processes and procedures
- Review financial statements and data. Utilize financial data to improve profitability. Prepare and control operational budgets. Control inventory. Plan effective strategies for the financial well-being of the company.
- Monitor and coordinate company activities and ensure compliance with company procedures, local law and regulations.
- Manage maintenance of equipment and machinery. Provide technical support where necessary
- Responsible for developing the production site to become a model of Lean Manufacturing
- Ensures effective people management of the production site
Profile
- Master's Degree in Operations, Engineering or equivalent
- Proven leadership experience. Ability to motivate and guide team members throughout the organization, and to maintain efficient and productive work relationships
- Minimum 7 years of experience in senior operating management in a beverage/food related manufacturing environment
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize effectively while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Native polish language speaker and moderate to strong English spoken, written and presentation
- High level of competence and communication skills to be able to support different departments
- Experience in successful implementation and running of recognized process improvements
- Highly knowledge of food quality standards as IFS, BRC, HACCP and HS&E systems
- Excellent communication skills and clear focus in business profitability
- Experience in packaging sector/fully automated lines will be an asset
- Practical knowledge of investment processes and regulations
- Good knowledge of plant operation financials
