Our client is a professional Medical Devices and Pharmaceutical organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
They are committed to being a global Medical Devices player and serve their clients with sophisticated equipment.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the Planning and Purchasing Leader you play a role in leading the planning, preparation, dealing with issues and controls production schedules.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will also be responsible for material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials that are approved to meet the production requirements and to make sure the customer service and inventory targets are met. Next to that you will also be responsible for:
-Coordination of continuous improvement plans and production control plans
-Overseas operations and support the warehouse operations
-Dealing with a complex supply chain; short deliver times, short life cycles, demand driven and high promotion pressure
-Leading the Master Production Plan and the execution of it
-Cooperation with Plan and Distribution group in Belgium
REQUIREMENTS
-BSc or MSc in Logistics, Business or any other related field required
-3 years working experience within the Supply Chain and extensive knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP
-Experience in leading a team in a professional setting within the Food industry
-Effective communication skills in Dutch and English, can work with people in different teams,levels and functions. Ability to influence results through others and external organizations.
