Planning Manager
The job is designed to lead the transactional processes across the entire supply chain. The role carries accountability for the delivery of standard work and processes across inventory planning of Finished goods, monthly S & OP cycles, RCCP planning for both internal contract manufacturing / 3rd party sourced products.

- Manage planning & S&OP Team
- Optimize working capital (inventory element), through increasing Inventory Turns
- Ensure there is adequate stock to cover customer requirements and ATP is always positive for stocked items across all markets
- Identify and maintain inventory targets and inventory forecast across FG
- Actively participate in various cross-portfolio initiatives including tools and system enhancements to support forecasting processes and reporting
- Engage with suppliers and internal manufacturing as necessary to manage inventory and service levels
- Engage with customers to identify customer needs and improve customer service levels
- Provide a framework to deal with item behavior (COV) and minimize the requirement of the sales organization to forecast runner items
- Implement demand pull methods Level loading and Kanban from finished goods warehouses. (driven by customer order signal)
- Lead integrated planning process providing a robust monthly S & OP cycle
Profile
- Master of Science in Supply Chain or Economics or any relevant education
- At least 5 years of experience on managerial position within supply chain areas
- Experience in building & leading transformation processes
- Professional certificates within Supply Chain is an asset
- Clear understanding of factory/supplier capacity, capabilities and processes and how to run simulations on forecasted demand against supply resources
- Successful track record in identifying, developing and executing change and process improvement e.g. implementing inventory and replenishment policies or deploying relevant KPI's
- Deliver on promises, do what he/she says they will do, when they say they will do it
- High degree of integrity, always prepared to do the right thing.
