Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Noord-Holland Netherlands.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Supply Planning Manager will be responsible for all processes in the field of material, production and inventory planning. You will manage a small team of planners in order to optimize inventory levels and guarantee the steady and accurate supply of several ingredients.
Therefore, we are looking for an experienced manager with strong knowledge of logistical processes and a specialisation in planning. Furthermore, you will aim to improve business processes and set-up strategical partnerships with external suppliers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of a small team of material, inventory and production planners
- Development of accurate supply planning for several internationally dispersed business units
- Development and improvement of strategical partnerships
- Improve the performance of external 3PL partners
- Development of strategy for several international business units
- Cross-functional projects with procurement, logistics and supply chain
- Budget control
- Improvement of logistical processes, development of KPIs and reporting
- Follow up on customer complaints
- Drive performance, develop training and team-building
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or similar
- Strong knowledge of material, inventory and production planning
- Previous experience with batch production
- Management experience
- Previous experience with SAP is a strong plus
- Project and Change management experience
- Fluent in English and Dutch
- Previous experience in lean projects is a strong plus
