On behalf of our Client, transport group who has the world’s largest ocean shipping fleet, to its office located in GdaÅ„sk, we are looking for Planner in Shipping Department.
The scope of the duties will include: container receipt & loading, pre-vessel-arrival coordination as well as post-vessel-departure coordination. But also steering and optimising the equipment flows and availability requirements for empty containers for the region. Planer will cooperate with other shipping lines/partners, terminal planners and 3PLs companies. Person hired on this position will also be responsible for process maintenance and improvements as well as checking whether in-house systems are correctly updated with the correct report structure and tools.
We are looking for candidates with the degree in maritime logistics or equivalent working experience. Minimal 2 years of experience in the logistics field is required. Ideal Candidate has positive customer focus attitude and passion for working with customers, excellent communication skills. We are searching for self-confident and ready to face challenges people, good team members. Fluent command of English is crucial.
