The role
Our Global HR Services team help to deliver AstraZeneca’s ambitious business strategy. We now seek a person who is passionate about the role of Personal Assistant supporting the Global HR Services Vice President. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm, who is highly organised, has high attention to detail, adaptable and passionate about supporting the VP and the team in their drive to deliver excellence in Global HR Services.
Responsibilities :
We feel this is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Personal Assistant to not only utilise your existing experience, but also gain new exposure in a complex global function.
Your role will be to provide a high quality, professional PA service including calendar management, travel, expense administration and arranging complex international meetings and events to the VP Global HR Services and the leadership team
You will have strong organisational skills gained from experience in roles such as project management, event management, PA support. Able to manage multiple priorities and conflicting demands comfortably. Importantly you will be a diligent and resilient individual who possesses the drive and passion. Due to the remote location of this role your ability to collaborate and communicate with the HR PA team based in Cambridge must be a priority.
Essential skills :
Experience as a PA or administrator supporting Directors or VPs in a complex, international organisation Ability to manage multiple projects/ tasks simultaneously and effectively
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Able to challenge the status quo, act proactively, think beyond the role and drive continuous improvement Flexible, adaptable and highly collaborative
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience of training individuals or small groups on processes or systems
Knowledge of MS office, Outlook, Calendar, PowerPoint, MS project or similar,
Knowledge of HR processes an advantage
