We are on an exciting journey towards establishing our HR Regional Service Centre for Europe in Warsaw. The ambition for the Regional Service Centre is to provide professional HR operational service and guidance to the approx. 4.000 employees working in Novo Nordisk in the different countries in Europe. Payroll & Benefits Operations Europe will support customers across different countries in Europe, hence the job requires interaction with stakeholders and management at different organisational levels and cultures. Knowledge and saviness regarding cultural differences, practices and procedures are important to succeed in this role. The Regional Service Centre will co-locate with the Business Area office for Europe East and the Polish affiliate. With annual budgeted sales level of over 700 million DKK and with 130 employees in the Polish affiliate the company ambition is to continuously improve quality of patients’ life and bring innovation into the markets.
Your next Role
The Payroll & Benefits Operations Lead role is to provide professional payroll and benefits services to Line of Business (LoB) in Europe (excl. HQ) and to be part of establishing the Regional Service Centre (RSC) for Europe in Warsaw, Poland.
Essentials responsibilities includes:
What do You need to succeed?
You hold master’s degree within business, economics, HR or equivalent or similar and you have minimum 5 years of experience working within the area of HR, payroll, tax, compensation and benefit incl. experience with payroll systems and providers. You have experience of working in a shared service centre and relevant management / leadership experience (operational level) incl. experience with driving standardisation, optimisation and continuous improvements.
You are a team player, You can inspire others with personal skills, energy and empathy. You are obsessed with delivering a strong customer experience and help solve customers problems no-matter who owns the problem. You have also Strong analytical skills to drive process standardisation, optimisation and continuous improvements. You have excellent communication skills and hence fluent (written and spoken) English and French is a must. Additional languages like German/Spanish/Italian/Danish would be a strong asset.

- Support the build and development of the Payroll & Benefits Operations (PBO) Europe unit
- Co-manage Payroll & Benefits Operations Integration project
- Lead Payroll & Benefits Operations Transition project for assigned countries
- Ensure high quality Payroll & Benefits Operations service delivery for assigned countries
- Ensure good collaboration with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers
- Drive operational excellence in PBO Europe unit
- Work on special assignments and projects
