Our client is a professional FMCG and Food organization, based in Belgium.
Is a passionate multinational with an annual sales rate of about 6 billion euros. Employing roughly 10.000 people and functioning as one of the driving engines they operate more than 50 production facilities worldwide serving the whole food b2b industry.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Packaging Development Engineer of the R&D department you will work on multiple Global Packaging Development Projects. You will work together with the Global Packaging Director and you will work on multiple global projects, using your R&D packaging knowledge, material knowledge and project management skills.
Passion, team spirit and integrity are essential characteristics are therefore standards for a succesful working process. In this function you will need to be experienced in engineering but you will also need to be able to communicate within different departments managing different stakeholders within and outside the company in the EMEA area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the structural and functional development of Packaging Solutions in Global Packaging Development B2B Projects
- You will research and test the qualities and functionalities of different packaging materials (plastics, cardboard, paper)
- Work together in teams for optimal designs
- Closely work together with engineers who will implement and evaluate the Packaging Designs
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor in Engineering / Food Technology
- 3-6 years of experience in Packaging Development (in Food industry is a pre)
- Experience with working with different packaging materials (cardboard, plastics, paper)
- Experience with working in projects
