THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Brussel Belgium.
For one of the largest B2B manufacturers in the Food Industry, I'm currently looking for an ambitious Packaging Engineer who will be leading packaging projects in the EMEA region. The company is a globally well-known multinational with +/-20 plants in de EMEA-region.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
In this self-starting, entrepreneurial role you're managing several packaging projects in the EMEA region, working closely with internal stakeholders like Marketing, R&D, Operations and QA, but also being in contact with clients and helping to improve and innovation new of the (new) packaging.
You will be the central packaging expert and will be supporting packaging activities at the production site's but will also be supporting the planning and organisation of plant tests and end-user tests which are linked to packaging.
For this role I'm looking for an ambitious Packaging Engineer who wants to help to bring the packaging department to its next level and support the company in packaging improvement. You are passionate about packaging and food and a pro-active project leader, who has international experience (in a multinational or european responsibility). You are always looking for new packaging concepts and materials.
RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelor Degree in Food- or Packaging Technology (Masters highly preferred)
-Experience in working with multi-functional teams
-Proven record of project management
-Minimum 3-5 years of experience
-International experience
-Fluently in English
-Willing to travel 30% of the time
