Operations Supervisor (logistics)
We are searching for an experienced Logistics professional to coordinate an operations team (between 3-5 employees).
The suitable candidate must be fluent in English.
This Logistics Supervisor will manage a team that is responsible of different vehicles, pool of trucks, and need to be able to coordinate his/her activity with the activity of other areas of the company and also to coordinate their activity with other offices located across Europe.

Our client is an international distribution company, specialized in different type of transportation, but mainly in long-distance.
Description
- Team management
- Control and monitor all vehicles activity
- Coordination of loading and unloading process
- Share shipping information
- Exchange of trailers if needed
- Coordination of each truck turnover
- Cooperation with other departments of the company.
Profile
- More the 3-4 years of experience coordinating operative teams in Logistics, distribution or transport companies
- Fluent in English (Speaking and Writing)
- One interview, at least, will be conducted in English
- High level of Excel, Word and Power point is required
- Knowledge of other systems is valuable
- Time management
- Team leadership
- Ability to work under pressure
- Decision making capabilities
- Planning and organization skills
- This position requires availability at phone after work and, punctually, weekends or public holidays
