Operations / Production Manager - FMCG business

Our client is looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join their team in Łódzkie area and be an integral part of the businesses continued growth. Operations Manager will manage, supervise and coordinate whole production in order to ensure timely fulfillment of production plan, implement a no accident and zero-defect culture and continuously improve financial results through sustainable practices at work place.

Opis stanowiska

• Coordinate the department, defining the priorities and designing the corrective actions and adjusting to the production plan. Establish and maintain operative routines and procedures, define and delegate the responsibilities to the responsible of the area. Coordinate the departments, defining all organization and methods of work, always following the standard procedures to obtain the best results.
• Implement policies and procedures defined for the Division and/or for the Plant. Draw, plan, implement and review the strategy for the department and trainings plan for the team members in agreement with Plant Director.
• Coordinate and monitor the production activities and its defined KPIs (OEE, Productivity, Quality, Unitary cost, others), by identifying the staff needs, by supporting its direct reporting, by analyzing the deviations on a daily basis and discuss with them the action plan to be implemented in each area, to ensure production in accordance with the plan, customer satisfaction and achievement of the Plant standards and objectives.
• Prepare, propose and monitor the annual budget of the operations department in relation to labour and S&S costs, in accordance with the Plant strategy.
• Coordinate and control the maintenance, its quality, process and spare parts warehouse on a daily basis, by supporting them on solving problems, as well as by validating the preventive maintenance plan, to guarantee efficiency and the operationally of production equipment.
• Coordinate the direct reports team, by selecting, appraising, training and developing and by defining their objectives in accordance with the HR processes and guidelines, to ensure performance and motivation according to the strategy and business needs.
• Cooperate with the Technical and Engineering team on the validation process of the new business projects, by seeking the best unit cost possible, in order to ensure the plant competitiveness. Cooperate with the Quality department, assuring the good manufacturing practices defined by them, including, supporting the analysis of the non-conformities implementing the correction actions plan.

Profil kandydata

• University degree in Engineering.
• Experienced operations leader / production manager within manufacturing with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a management role to a similar level.
• Demonstrated leadership in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent people management and motivational skills.
• Experience in filling processes will be an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in driving changes.
• Fluency in English.
