Our client is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to effectively manage quite a big department structure through the supervisors within Financial Services area. It is a brand new position that collaborates with teams locally and across regions.
Responsibilities involve:
Managing processes and activities through the supervisors and ensuring resources are available to achieve expected service levels
Coaching, mentoring and developing the supervisors in order to leverage employee strengths and achieve exemplary performance
Building strong stakeholder relationships to support achievement of service levels
Contributes to financial plan and business goals and ensures business goals are met within established financial targets
Notices and implements optimizations in order to make the processes more efficient and effective
Candidate profile:
Higher education degree
At least 7 years of experience in managing operations structure
At least 5 years of experience in people management through team leaders / supervisors
Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
Ability to generate process improvement ideas
Outstanding work organization, prioritization and ability to work under high time pressure to deliver to tight deadlines
Fluent command of English
Readiness to work evening hours 13-22 a couple of days a week
