Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the operations departments.
- Maximising efficiency, service, quality, sustainability, health and safety on a best cost framework.
- Own and manage the manufacturing process to maximise finished product quality standards and consistency.
- Responsible for the day to day running of the production facility, organisation of personnel and the manufacture of required tonnages.
- Ongoing compliance with Health and Safety and Environmental Law and Policy.
- Responsible for the achievement of agreed budget whilst continually striving for greater efficiency.
- Improve leadership, team building and empowerment skills of individual managers.
- Champion the Continuous Improvement and encourage a culture of engagement across the team.
- Propose, cost, plan and implement the capital projects for the site, to drive capacity and business benefits.
- Maintain regular and proactive contact with commercial and head office functions.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years’ experience in operations/production management role in FMCG industry (must have)
- Experience in team management and team building role
- Higher education degree
- Very good English knowledge
- Excellent Interpersonal / communication skills
- Strategic vision, change management skills
- Organisational and planning skills
- Budget management
- Continuous improvement experience
