For our Client, one of the Europe’s leading equipment services provider within the transport industry, we are looking for experienced, motivated and ambitious Candidate for the position of Operations Finance Manager
(SSC).

As an Operations Finance Manager you will be responsible for managing and leading the Asset Control department in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as recruiting and development of Asset Control staff. You will be dedicated to ensuring integrity of the asset sub-ledger and records in accordance with IFRS, Local GAAP and company accounting policies and ensuring a strong system of internal controls over the accuracy of asset reporting. You will also ensure ownership of an end-to-end process in asset control, improve process and interface controls to speed up actuals delivery in an accurate manner. What is more, you will ensure the Asset Control monthly and quarterly financial close is adequately executed within the assigned deadlines. Your scope of duties will include maintaining the risk and control matrix for all asset control processes and ensuring that all controls are implemented and working effectively. You will maintain relationships with internal stakeholders including regional offices and HQ functions, support the Tax and Controllership team (HQ) in ensuring appropriate Asset Control back up and documentation during year end audit cycle. As an Operations Finance Manager you will responsible for conducting regular team reviews to ensure compliance with local statutory/IFRS and company policies as well as ensuring all appropriate back up documentation, sign-offs and overviews are obtained and archived in an appropriate manner. One of your tasks will be providing ad hoc business support.

To be successful in this role you need to have Master’s Degree in accounting or finance, 15+ years of experience in finance of which 5+ years in a management position leading a group of accounting staff in an overseas SSC, strong experience with managing high volume transactional processes, strong working knowledge of general accepted accounting principles (IFRS) and be fluent in English (additional languages preferred). It is also required to possess Pan-European and/or lease industry experience, thorough knowledge of working with financial systems/applications and excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel), VBA and Access will be an advantage. ACCA qualifications will be highly appreciated. You need to have the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organisation and business, to work independently as well as part of a team in a multi-cultural environment and present optimistic and can-do approach to problem solving.
