Operations Director (m/f) - Retail
Operations Director reporting to the CEO is responsible for >500 team including 5 managers and dispersed structure of <100 points of sales. This person contributes to short and long-term organisational planning and strategy working closely with the management board with a major objective to continuously increase profitability.

For our Client - dynamically growing company in retail industry with proven track record in health & beauty categories - we are looking for an experienced, motivated and proactive Operations Director.
Description

Create new or revise existing operational processes and management methods, identifying areas of improvement
- In conjunction with the strategy of the group, proactively set goals and objectives communicate them clearly and implement
- Review and approve plans to control budget spending, labour and material efficiency
- Monitor division performance against performance goals to ensure that objectives are being met and take corrective action if necessary.
- Analyse performance against operating plans, anticipate risks and take corrective action if necessary
- Standardise and re-design where required the POS in order to build one, consistent model and strengthen brand according to the latest customer/shopper's needs
- Provide leadership, mentoring, training at all levels of the organisation
- Drive the business to increase profits by planning budgets, reviewing expenses, monitoring inventory, supporting better reporting and information flow
- Own further expansion plans, deliver new openings on time and on budget
Profile
-
Minimum 10 years of working experience in retail industry on operations positions with at least 4 years in a supervisory capacity
- Good command in written and spoken English
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- Well-organised, detailed-oriented individual with outstanding analytical mindset
- Able to multi-task, versatile and adaptable to changing situations
- Experience working in complex, fast moving environments
- Direct people management experience having led successful teams of challenging managers
- Experience directing results and performance with proven ability to work under pressure
- Experience managing and building strong business relationships and influencing executive management decisions
- Experience coaching people, making decisions and driving execution
