Offshore Engineer

Work place: The Netherlands

Job description:
-    Performing engineering design for onshore/offshore projects, supporting engineering operations within the company;
-    Managing and checking the work of the designers.

Main tasks:
-    Ensuring that all activities are executed in accordance with the company Quality Management System (QMS), policies and controls;
-    Monitoring planning and ensuring that deliverables are defined, prepared, checked and issued on time using the QMS and project specific procedures;
-    Assisting in setting out project work instructions and templates and contributing to the preparation & review;
-    Assisting in the provision of an effective and efficient, high quality engineering design;
-    Checking drawings/engineering documents;
-    Preparing reports and design packages for performance of design review;
-    Assisting in preparation of discipline engineering scopes and project proposals;
-    Providing support to the quotation team(s) in relation to technical matters;
-    Ensuring and executing proper registration and filing in Panorama;
-    Cooperation with Subcontractors/Suppliers as well as internal communication with Head of Department, Discipline Lead Engineer, Project Engineer and Project Team.

Requirements:
-    Master Degree in Engineering
-    Min. 5 -10 years experience within its discipline as Engineer/Designer in the Oil & Gas offshore industry and/or experience in an equivalent function;
-    Min. 3 years recent experience, executing (significant) offshore engineering projects;
-    Offshore training / BOSIET certificate;
-    Very good experience in MS Office;
-    Knowledge of 3D design tools (PDMS, AutoCAD, PowerPlant);
-    Background knowledge of Oil & Gas systems;
-    Ability to work unsupervised and take-on a leading role;
-    Team player player within both the engineering group and the company as a whole;
-    Problem solving capabilities;
-    Good English knowledge.
