On behalf of our Client, a global outsourcing company established in Gdāsk we are currently seeking Candidate for the position of Facilities Operations Office Manager.
Your new role
Holding the position of Facilities Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that an organization has the most suitable working environment for its employees and their activities, as well as improving efficiency by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity. Your scope of duties will include planning and cooperating with landlords to ensure effective management of sites, obligations, charges, quality, and lease contracts. You will also ensure a preventive maintenance program regarding electrical system, UPS, generator set, precision air conditioning, gas suppression system etc. Moreover, you will supervise all facilities staff & external contactors (custodians, technicians, housekeepers etc.) and keep financial and non-financial records and coordination with finance for vendor payments. The role will also cover directing, coordinating and planning essential central services such as reception and hospitality services, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling and other facility management aspects.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you need BSc/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field as well as at least 3 years of experience in a similar role within facilities management. Moreover, our Client appreciates excellent organizational skills and knowledge of best facilities management practices. Fluency in English is a must.
