Description
We are member of French ALTEN Group present in 25 countries around the world and employing over 34,000 engineers and IT specialists. Since 1988 we deliver advanced IT systems for well-known brands, develop medicine and the renewable energy industry. ALTEN innovates aero and cosmonautics, trains, electric and autonomous vehicles, and even space rockets. We are currently looking for Office Engineer who will join our team.
Main tasks
- Work within the Office engineering pod, covering some or all of: Agile development of Office features or related products, 3rd level support of said products, thought leadership, technical documentation, verbal and written communication, financial management
- Maintain an agile mind-set by adopting the practices and processes identified as being required for our new engineering pods, leveraging agile delivery methods, associated frameworks (e.g., Lean) and Bank tools (e.g., JIRA) to do this
- As assigned: Be responsible for the team’s budget as assigned, perform vendor management as needed against assigned partners, following all applicable company policies and procedures for financial and team management
- Work collaboratively with staff within the platform to identify and agree improvement opportunities
Requirements
- Experience of managing an agile infrastructure development team
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Office 2013, Office 2016, Office configuration via GPOs, Windows Scripting, .Net
- Experience of associated technology areas: Microsoft Windows 10, Apple Mac OS X, Windows security models and tooling, identity and access management tooling
- Familiarity with some of the following: Agile software development, PHP, Perl, SQL. HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, single sign on, LDAP, design patterns, design-driven
- development, continuous deployment, application security, continuous integration, and incremental design
- Knowledge of Lean Sigma practices
- Knowledge and experience of using agile delivery methods and tools to implement both tactical and strategic changes
