Managed Security Services is a pioneer and world leader in software and services that protect corporate and personal information from an ever-changing spectrum of online threats and misuse. MSS core operations are performed in Security Operations Centers (SOC) located in 8 locations around the Globe. SOC Poland is 2nd largest center covering globally all MSS operations.
IBM Security Managed Security Services (MSS) is looking for Network Engineer in Wroclaw X-Force Command Center.
This role will participate in supporting Security Services Infrastructure Team in everyday IT operation job.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Red Hat, Centos & Windows Servers in production environments
- Support MSS systems and customers
- Troubleshoot software and network systems
- Provide ongoing documentation of system and system changes
- Perform on call duty system administration duty according to the further arrangements
- Manage and maintain assigned work queues
- Participate in after hours and weekend maintenance and upgrade projects as needed
- Perform project based implementation work as assigned
- Create technical documentation and work instructions
- Regular worklog update of all assigned tickets
- Completion of work by assigned due date
- Troubleshoot server/network problems as reported by users
- Researches, evaluates and recommends software and hardware products
Requirements:
- One or more Cisco or Checkpoint Network related certifications a plus - CCNA, CCNP
- 3+ years of Cisco routing and switching experience - Cisco Nexus and IOS, spanning tree, vlan, BGP
- 3+ years of packet filtering firewall experience - Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Vyatta etc
- SDWAN experience a plus
- Solid knowledge of DHCP, DNS, IP addressing & subnetting
- Knowledge / experience with Load Balancing (preferably F5)
- General understanding of virtualization and virtual appliances
- Solid knowledge and experience with troubleshooting production environments under pressure with the ability to quickly and efficiently identify and resolve network & firewall related connectivity issues
- Linux and Windows server experience in production environment
- Experience with ESX virtualization
- Bachelor's Degree
- English: Advanced/Fluent
- Experience working in regulated environments - FFIEC, PCI, SOX, SSAE16 etc - would be an advantage
