Network Engineer in Technical Assistance Center

Miejsce pracy: Kraków

Overview:

Accepting new cases from end customers and/or collaborations from colleagues in remotely troubleshooting and finding root cause(s) of customer issues to resolve them via temporary workarounds or permanent solutions. Working with and able to create lab re-creations reflecting customer topology to troubleshoot in controlled environment. Raise escalations to developers for further deep analysis of issues.

What you will do?

  • You will get an opportunity to work for worldwide customers within our team or with other teams to solve problems and enhance future products with senior engineer supervision;
  • Solve reported product and network problems of moderate and high complexity;
  • Effectively utilize technical and customer relationship skills as well as databases of existing issues, debugging tools and lab simulations to analyze problems and identify solutions with a high level of customer satisfaction;
  • Provide systems/product training and identify improvement opportunities and recommendations in products and processes;

"Must have" qualifications:

  • Very good command of English
  • Have network troubleshooting skills (at a CCNA level but no certificate is required)
  • Have experience in working directly with customers in a support environment
  • Ability to working under pressure
"Nice to have" qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Security technologies portfolio - or at least one (ISE, VPN, NGFW, ESA/CSA, WSA)
  • Had training related to troubleshooting methods (like the K-T method)
