Senior .NET Developer
Location: KrakowYou will join global IT team in Global Banking & Markets (GBM) which is the "investment bank" for HSBC . Our businesses generate millions of transactions across a range of financial markets. Our IT teams design and develop modern systems covering all aspects - trading in the markets, sales and customer tools, handling transactions and building financial and regulatory reporting.
The team:
We are looking for .NET Developer to join remotely our Germany-based team. Expected knowledge transfer process in Dusseldorf at the beginning of the cooperation.
Project:
The Team Business Services is providing approx. 70 frontend Systems to about 2.500 internal customers of all Lines of Businesses, Functions and subsidiaries of HSBC Germany the Client . It enables key business critical functions like Payments, Transactions and Customer Onboarding and Master Data to be performed by End-Users in daily business. Beside frontend Systems, Business Services operates approx. 60 backend Systems, which assure compliance with regulatory requirements like MiFID II, Basel II, Trade-Reporting to Deutsche Bundesbank and processing of Standard Settlement Instructions.
The Business Services Senior .NET Developer is working in agile Scrum Teams together with Application Managers, SME and colleagues from the business area to develop and maintain products of the Java Business Services end to end.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze, design, develop, test and deliver quality software products in a complex environment.
- Supports the application's whole lifecycle including operation
- Identify areas for improvement and drive change through to completion.
- Actively participate in a self-organized DevOps team
SKILLS
MUST
- Strong C# skills (WPF, MVVM) , desirably 5years of experience
- Self-starter, able to work in fast paced agile development environment.
- Experience in object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience in multi-thread programming and concepts
- Experience with Agile development techniques (Test Driven Development, spec by example, Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience with databases using SQL
- Experience using Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment
- Communication skills to collaborate effectively within the team and with the business
NICE TO HAVE
- German is a plus
- Degree with IT focus (Business Information Systems, Informatics, Mathematics, Economathematics) or an equivalent qualification
- Understanding of Financial and Banking applications or related business experience.
- Delphi development experience is a plus.
