Your responsibilities
- Among the responsibilities held by teachers at IAS we are seeking candidates who will respond positively to the following:
- Be an active advocate for the IAS vision, mission and core aims
- Support the School Leadership Team to develop and deliver the school’s pastoral goals
- Promote a culture where diversity and inclusion are encouraged
- Provide on-site counselling for students either on walk-in or arranged basis
- Schedule and sit in on class observations for the purpose of gaining insight on student and class dynamics
- Review diagnoses and reports submitted from students with known-existing individual needs
- Identify students who fit the criteria for individual needs and place as part of the school’s individual needs cohort
- Manage ongoing needs of students with individual needs, including referrals to outside counselling and diagnoses when necessary
- Provide teacher trainings in areas of expertise, including instructional strategies for students with emotional, developmental, or behavioral disorders
- In consort with homeroom teachers, provide mediation and conflict resolution for students on a case-by-case basis
- Maintain comprehensive reports and documentation on the school’s information systems

Our requirements
- Masters of Arts in Psychology or equivalent qualification
- English level C1 or above
- 2 years school-based experience preferred
