THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Biotechnology organization, based in Oost-Vlaanderen Belgium.
The client is a growing company in the field of biotech where their platform services clients in their preclinical stage research.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the group lead you will guide a interdisciplinary team of scientists in the quest to novel microbiological solutions. You coordinate internal and external activities. You have demonstrated lead experience with direct reports as well as external collaboration experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You are responsible for multiple projects at the same time, while designing and developing microbiological methods, make sure that manufacturing protocols of the EMA/FDA are met. You participate and lead in drug development efforts and perform analysis.
REQUIREMENTS
- PhD in microbiology or related
- 4+ years of industry experience in biotech or pharmaceuticals
- Team management experience
- Cell immunology knowledge is highly preferred
