This department is part of the Global Medical Affairs, which is responsible for providing medical support for the immunology portfolio, including existing drugs and in the pipeline drugs. This medical support takes the form of medical information and internal & external medical education and is provided to regional and global commercial functions (Marketing and Medical Affairs) and its affiliates around the world who commercialize these products.

Role Description

As a Medical Information Specialist you will work in the Medical Information Center, which provides high quality, fast medical information services supporting diverse immunology products.You will develop expert therapeutic area knowledge related to the company's immunology products. Be an expert on practices and policies in the field of medical information, including applicable compliance regulations and codes of conduct.

Responsibilities

- Building and maintaining therapeutic area and product knowledge including knowledge of disease states in gastroenterology, rheumatology and dermatology, all active and pipeline products and their competitors
- Professional expertise in the field of medical information, including knowledge of appropriate industry methods, process and standards according to industry and company policies
- Expertise in legal, regulatory and compliance regulations and codes of conduct applicable to medical information services
- Managing and contributing to the maintenance of electronic and information management systems used in the Medical Information Center (databases, electronic, SharePoint, reporting tools)
- Answers medical information requests coming from the affiliates within a predefined time line
- Documenting of the service requests and their responses appropriately and accurately

Requirements

- Bachelors' degree in a biomedical field
- Minimal 1 or 2 years' of relevant experience
- Fluent in English
- Ability to travel 10% and 3 days on site
- Standard computer skills
