Media Procurement Category Manager opportunity has become available in this successful global organisation that has an office located in Warsaw. Working for a leading organisation, this role will be a part of a global procurement team and will have significant exposure across the business.
This is a highly responsible role that has an influence on major decisions making by Senior Management. The candidate will work in partnership with senior management team providing specialist procurement and commercial advice. Within this role you will be mainly responsible for leading implementation of Media category sourcing strategy that deliver tangible results, proactively managing supplier relationships to deliver cost, quality & cash results and to drive continuously improvement, drive innovation programs to continually search for cost saving opportunities, new technologies, new services and new suppliers that contribute to the overall strategy of the business. You will also manage a small team.
The successful candidate will have a few years proven experience in a Purchasing role and will demonstrate purchasing/ procurement competence and successful negotiation skills within Media Category on an international scale. Previous relevant experience in Media agency will be an additional asset. Our Client expects international experience of working with cross functional teams, excellent communication, networking and influencing skills as well as excellent stakeholder management skills, project management and performance measurement skills. Due to a team management element of this role, managerial experience is welcome.
