Material Data Management Specialist with German

An ideal candidate for this position must have:
- 3+ years of related job experience (preferably in a manufacturing industry) - Sound knowledge and experience of best practices in SAP material master data management including BOM management - BS or MS degree in engineering or a related technical background - Very good command of English and German (min. B2/C1) - Proactive self-starter and excellent team player in an agile context - Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills - Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service - Process oriented with good documentation skills - Preferably experience in manufacturing sales, order and development processes - Preferably experience in SAP variant configuration - High interpersonal and communication skills - Attention to details - Commitment to making a significant difference
Responsibilities:
- Creates new and manages changes of material master data in SAP based on material requests - Creates and maintain electronic catalogs - Works closely with regional product development, purchasing and service teams in order to ensure data quality and timeliness - Collaborates with data consumers like analytics, business and production teams for continuously enhancing data-driven decision making across the organization - Investigates reasons for potential data issues and support identifying routes to solution - Performs continuous process reviews & analytics and identify & propose continuous improvement opportunities to grow Master Data quality, efficiency and/or effectiveness
