Guardian in Katowice now has an immediate opening for a Master Planner for Europe
Responsibilities:
- Create production master plan for European plants based on sales forecasts provided regionally, internal supplies and production constrains
- Connect macro planning with schedules in particular European plants
- Monitor (evaluate) and adapt inventories policies at the European plants according to market evolutions
- Provide inputs for the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) monthly cycles related to production strategies
- Monitor actual balance between demand and supply, identify gaps and drive solutions
- Evaluate short term risks and opportunities related to demand and prepare action plan optimizing production output and inventories
- Monitor manufacturing process and provide support to operations on actions related to production optimization
- Identify gaps in the supply plan, prepare contingency plans mitigating service impact and lead/ coordinate corrective and continuous improvements actions
- Efficiently run and manage communication and alignment of expectations with operation to maximize resources utilization and demand requirements
Expectations:
- English speaker
- Proactive team player with continuous improvement mindset and strong customer service skills
- Master Planner experience or applicable experience working as a planner, production scheduler.
- Knowledge and experience in standard enterprise resource planning (ERP)
- Strong analytical /planning skills
- Strong problem solving and negotiation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced Excel spreadsheet experience
