The Master Data Specialist will take over the ownership of the governance model for the master data related to all our business processes. He will create the link towards source/master data on the one hand and altering and process related data on the other hand. The data model should be consistent with high quality and no duplicates. For all process related data streams, he will take the leading role of the process design and the data structure. He will ensure the integrity of the service process related data entry points compared to our ERP master data. To combine the two sides of the business - sales/production BOM and service generated data - is key to success for the ambition of the aim towards 100% visibility of our real installed base.
Key accountabilities:
● Enable asset life cycle management by developing and maintaining item and installed base master data management models and policies
● Coordinate the global Master Data Management responsible in the locations
● Secure master data process across business IM architecture
● Prepare and maintain global item data in SAP
● Coordinate developments on master data stories and projects following the global service offerings roadmap and business strategy
● Processes and data flow related to Master data and tools and technologies
●Leading role in maintenance plan concept for equipment and ownership of that stream
●Integrate 3rd party asset management and serial number based accessories from supplier
KPIs:
● Data quality scores
● Data altering score
● Cycle time for setup processes for accounts, vendors, assets, entitlements
● Percentage of duplicate data
● NPS score from stakeholders
● Data governance score
Education:
● Master or Bachelor degree in business administration/mechanical engineering/industrial management/computer science/information technology or equivalent work experience
Experience:
● Systems and processes development experience
● At least 4 years of experience in service business or heavy machinery industry Competencies:
● IT skills, including ERP, PDM and data analyze programs, such as Excel or Access
● Ability to bring together different stakeholders and funnel ‘local’ business requirements in global solution framework
● Holistic and sustainable view on systems Systems and tools (if applicable)
● SAP
● ERP/LN

● PDM/Windchill
