Your next role
Master Data Quality Analyst will be responsible for examining complex data and turning it into information and insight to inform business decisions, monitor performance and develop quality control plans to identify any issues or ways to improve master data quality at scale. The role involves collaborating with further Master Data functions and business users to implement effective automation processes to identify and load large amounts of master data.
Primary responsibilities:
- Ensuring consistency of master data quality across core ERP systems
- Leading and executing master data cleansing projects in close collaboration with business and internal organization
- Developing and implementing solutions for various master data quality processes
- Ensuring key master data quality metrics are visualised, accurate and actual
Moreover:
- Applying data governance standards and rules and work with the MDM Process & Governance Team to further develop business rules
- Analyzing and enriching data, executing complex data maintenance activities using mass-load functionality
- Implementing data quality checks within the ERPs in collaboration with IT
- Building reports and dashboards to monitor data quality, such as in SAP Information Steward, Power BI, Excel or any other appropriate analytical software for the given task
- Preparing input for weekly Data Quality SLA review
- Creating awareness and education around master data quality problems
- Maintaining documentation on work procedures related to data quality processes
- Supporting ETL data migration activities
What you’ll need to succeed
- Passion for working with numbers and data sets, quality-first approach and strong analytical skills
- Experience in Master Data processes and architecture of SAP Master Data Models
- Programming skills (XML, SQL, etc.)
- Knowledge of data reporting & analytics tools (eg.: Business Objects, Power BI, SAP Information Steward)
- Excellent command of the English language (for everyday work and communication)
