Job Description
- Directing activities of subordinates in direct production and support functions
- Implementing and supervising of scheduled production plans
- Developing, implementing and maintaining individual and departmental goals
- Aligning individual and team goals to support overall organizational goals
- Coordinating work load requirements
- Maintaining staffing requirements
- Responsibility for discipline and annual performance evaluations
- Collaborating with process engineers to identify and solve issues
- Identifying and providing resources for members development
- Identifying training needs
- Motivating individuals and work groups
- Reporting to the local Operations Manager
Requirements
- An educational background in Electronics, preferably with a master’s degree in it
- Experience in electrical or electronic manufacturing
- Min. 2 years experience in supervisory position in manufacturing environment
- Excellent command of English
- Ability to prepare reports and analyze data
- Ability to effectively organize day-to-day work
- Ability to learn quickly
- Experience with Surface Mount Technology would be an advantage
- Knowledge in Lean Management and Six Sigma would be an advantage
