Our manufacturing environment is growing in a fast pace in terms of production volumes, -variability and complexity.

The Manufacturing department contains a group of motivated team members that work every day on our beautiful mission to serve our patients timely with high quality products in safe operational environment. The Manufacturing Manager has a key role to lead, coach and develop production teams divided over 9
production lines. Each production team is typically set-up with the following roles; process operators, technical operators and line leads. Safety, (product) quality, delivery, inventory and productivity and key aspects in our manufacturing environment. This will be achieved in close collaboration with internal- and external stakeholders.

Role Description

The Manufacturing Manager plays a critical role in the performance of his teams and readiness to face our future challenges in manufacturing. This role participates a leading role in setting up team standards, drives a continuous improvement mindset, set standards, liaises & collaborates with key stakeholders,
takes ownership of the utilization & (desired) performance of his teams, develops his staff, strives to an error proof work environment and leads by example in a well-regulated (GMP & GDP) environment.

Responsibilities

- Ensure flawless execution of (complex) Manufacturing processes per procedure and time- & performance schedule
- Develop high performance teams
- Drive continuous improvement to increase productivity and efficiency per functional metric
- Mature safety awareness- and ownership culture
- Ensures audit (compliance) readiness and fosters that staff members work according our SOPs to be fully compliant per Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Requirements

- Bachelor degree Industrial Engineering via education or by experience.
- Background in Manufacturing (pre: packaging)
- 3+ years’ experience in comparable role in a highly regulated environment (can be from outside Pharma) or ready for your next career step after having done similar activities formultiple years, with evidence of excellent leadership- and people-management skills.
- Solid background in accurate documenting and managing high performance teams
- Familiar with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GDP (Good Documentation Practice)
- Fluency in written and verbal Dutch and English
- Willingness to work in shifts (due to the growth of our organisation the shift schedule might change in the future, currently we work in a 2 or 3 shift schedule)
