Our client is a professional FMCG and Food organization, based in Belgium.

With annual sales of more than 12 billion, producing different brands they aim to keep their leading position in the production of f.e. cookies, crackers and savory snacks.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
You will be responsible as a Packaging Manager supporting, planning and performing daily management through coordination, vendor expediting and equipment testing and validation. You will lead the work of different packaging engineers with a focus on feasibility and ensuring that the safety, functionality and execution standars and requirements are met. You will be in charge of the development of different packaging technologies for different packaging lines while leading a larger project team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading the development of new packaging technologies
- Lead the work with the identified equipment manufacturer through design
- Organize design reviews in close communications with operations, safety and the food safety department
- You will be monitoring and reporiting project progress and deliverables
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor/Master in Food Technology/Engineering
- 6-10 years of experience in Packaging (international company is preferred)
- Experience with working in different packaging projects
- Developed leadership and people skills
- Able to deliver and present informative and well-organized progress reports
- Fluent in English
