Managing Director (m/f)
The role of Managing Director is a unique blend of strategic, operational and sales responsibilities.
Develop and lead the implementation of the commercial and product categories strategies in Poland to accelerate profitable growth in accordance with the Regional strategy and business plan with a particular focus on developing and growing the market share.

For our client, one of the Europe's leading suppliers of steel products, due to further development we are looking for experienced Managing Director.
Description
- Management and supervision of the Company
- Management of legal & financial risk of the company

Develop, communicate, and manage the execution of the country's commercial strategy and business plan to maximize overall business performance, profitability, market penetration

Manage P&L and deliver against the regional business plan financial and non-financial targets to maximize business performance and profitable sales growth

Drive customer product needs identification process within the region. Review and drive the development of new market opportunities. Lead the development of tailored route to market strategies across the region

Active customer care and the acquisition of large / key account customers within the country

Lead, align, motivate, and performance manage direct reporting staff to ensure their continuous commitment and engagement to deliver the business plan
Profile

University degree
- At least 10- years of professional and management experience within an international environment (General Management Expertise) Steel industry background is required
- A strategic sales director with strong business acumen and business focus
- Results oriented and customer focus
- Ability to manage forecasts and budgets with tight control procedures
- Proven track record of managing and developing a sizable team
- Proactive, self-motivated, be able to work under pressure
- Team player, experience in managing a team
- Experience in managing dispersed structures
- Willing to travel
- Fluent English at business level, both written and spoken, German is a plus
