For one of our Clients, a growing Shared Service Centre in Warsaw, we are currently seeking Candidates for the position of MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST.
MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST will be responsible for recognizing project revenue in accordance with the Group accounting policies and international accounting standards, standardizing process across different legal entities, introducing process improvements with the use of both spreadsheets and BI Tools, reviewing PnL and making recommendations to BU Controllers, posting adjustments to the PnL / BS, reporting revenue and orders in consolidation system, preparing project’s accounts reconciliation, dealing with ad hoc request from BU Controllers, as well as performing other independent accounting reconciliations and investigations, all this while building and maintaining excellent relationships with various stakeholders.
We are looking for Candidates with an Academic Degree in Finance or related area, who have approximately 3 – 5 years of relevant experience, gained preferably in SSC environment. Fluency in English is mandatory, as well as advanced knowledge of MS Office Excel and experience working with a large ERP system. Knowledge of accounting rules (deferred cost, accrued income) is also essential. VBA skills, experience in process transition, or familiarity with Lean Six Sigma will be considered advantageous.
