Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Netherlands.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

My client is looking for a maintenance engineer who will work together with project managers that are focussed on design and maintenance engineering of electrical utilities and warehousing systems. You will be providing input for general maintenance improvements and develop technical solutions for complex problems during engineering projects. You will also be responsible for the coordination of the work of consultants, architects and engineering firms on developments of standard design documents.
It is required that you know the breakdown of the system and communicate this with the technicians to fix issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design engineering:
- Complete design and utilities/WH systems engineering projects within the arranged budget, schedule and quality constraints.
- Develop technical solutions to complex problems that requires the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
- Serve as a engineering technology specialist in certain areas of the company and determine design methodologies.

Maintenance engineering:
- You need to coordinate the troubleshooting and give advise to technicians during unplanned maintenance and technical issues.
- Give operational support to maintenance technicians and contractors.
- Provide input for general maintenance improvements.
- Set up SLA's with contractors and OEM.
- Lead reviews and optimisations of prepared maintenance jobs.
- Co-lead of development of maintenance concepts.
- Identify repeated failure and lead improvement actions.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor in Engineering, Science or related technological field.
- 5 - 10 years of relevant work experience in operations / manufacturing environment.
- in depth knowledge of utilities, building management equipment and warehouse storage systems.
- Experience in working in a regulated environment (GMP)
- Fluent in English and Dutch (Written and Spoken)
- Good knowledge of CMMS, SAP, MS Office.
- Project management experience

IMPORTANT:
- Availability to be assigned Duty Call Service (24/7) (1 or 2 times a month)
- Availability to be on site within 1 hour during emergencies
