Logistics Project Manager
Person on that position would be responsible for management and support of international projects across several plants in supply chain management and logistics in the Group (transfers, setting up of new warehouses, integration of acquisitions).

International automotive company which cooperate with the biggest global car producers. The Company has 25 sites around the world. Currently the biggest challenge in area of Logistics is to implement and standardise given processes in particular sites and improve current processes.
Description

Management and support of international projects across several plants in supply chain management and logistics in the Group (transfers, setting up of new warehouses, integration of acquisitions)

Introduction and management of S&OP processes (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning)

Support of optimisation projects (lean projects) in logistics within the Group Production System
-
Optimisation and improvement of relevant processes within Group. Work on problem solving and improvement processes with plants and regions, in order to improve delivery service to customers and optimise the logistics costs

Support of roll out of AX template for Order Management; development of improvement of these processes; co-operation with the local entities and IT in AX roll out projects; ensure implementation of processes according to the defined standards

Management and overseeing projects for inventory optimisation

Close cooperation with all relative functions: esp. sales and engineering, purchasing and production/operations
Profile
-
Minimum 3 years experience in logistics, either in an industrial company or with a freight forwarding company

Bachelor/Master in logistics (or comparable qualification, e.g. business admin studies and work experience in logistics)

Fluent English Language skills other languages e.g German would be an advantage
-
Readiness for business trips (travel rate 25-50%)

Experience with Dynamics AX or SAP or another major ERP system

Knowledge and experience in Lean management would be welcome
-
APICS certification is an advantage
-
High self-motivation and target orientation as well as a pronounced sense of responsibility
