Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.
They are a global pharmaceutical player and serve their clients with their sophisticated products
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the Logistics Manager you are responsible for the management of the client’s supply chain partners and ensuring that their medicines are delivered on time. You will also be engaged in the preparation of client's (future) distribution network.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You are responsible for cost effective transportation of the client’s products to regional markets and making sure that the supply is GDP compliant. Next to that you will also be responsible for:
-Maintain and improve relationships with KAM and LSP’s on management level
-Assessment of global supplier management procedures in accordance with the Quality Control team and Strategic Planning department
-Management of the client’s supply chain partner relationships
-Regular performance and business reviews with supply chain partners on current business and continuous improvements
-The implementation of best in class solutions for supply chain partner management
-Assessment of changes in countries legislation that may affect transportation
-Cold chain management and on-time delivery of the client’s products
REQUIREMENTS
-BSc in Logistics or Engineering
-5+ years in a similar role or in a role where you managed suppliers
-Expertise in Supply Chain, cold chain and warehouse management
-Eager and result driven, independent and able to work under pressure
-Persuasive and good in relationship building, know when to pull and push
-Able to deal with responsibility and able to solve problems
-Good communication and presentation skills, being able to persuade stakeholders
