Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Gelderland Netherlands.
They are an international company with a broad focus between health, food and food technologies and are determined to produce healthy and high quality nutrition to infants.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the Logistics Inventory Planner play a key role in the planning and coordination on operational level all materials related activities. You are responsible in ensuring that the material availability and inventory targets are being met.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Logistics Inventory Planner makes sure that all the deadlines related to inventory and materials are met. You will also be working in close cooperation with your counterparts to continuously improve the related processes. You will be part of the Supply Chain team. Next to that you will also be responsible for:
-Managing a team of material planners.
-Plans and executes all material related requirements.
-Leads and coordinates multi-functionally projects and processes.
-Operates at target stock levels.
-Implementation of BCP plans.
-Participates and leads in the monthly review meetings.
-Leads and establishes monthly review meetings with key suppliers.
-Continuous improvement of the related processes to reduce costs and avoid write-offs.
REQUIREMENTS
-BSc in Logistics, Business or any other related field required.
-Experience in leading a team in a professional setting.
-Experience in the management of supply chain processes, in the food industry.
-Knowledge of materials management and processes.
-Understands the operational side of the processes, such as days of supply, delivery performance and so on.
-Experience with supply chain planning systems such as SAP and APO/ECC.
-Effective communication skills in Dutch and English, can work with people in different teams, levels and functions. Ability to influence results through others and external organizations
