For our Client, multinational production company with Shared Service Centre established in Katowice, we are looking for Accountants with experience in General Ledger, General Accounting, Statutory Accounting or Audit.
Summary of Position
The successful candidate will be:
- initially responsible for local accounting compliance needs associated to Spanish established entity with main duties connected to the preparation of tax returns, including VAT, CIT, lead the process of external audit and financial statement preparation.
- responsible for all internal accounting compliance reporting.
- strongly connected to the company business transformation initiative and outside specific responsibilities on Spanish local compliance will be tasked with leading the potential enlargement of scope to onboard other European locations to build up a further compliance hub. This hub will work under a governance structure with other existing hubs in Luxembourg, Spain and Russia.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred: higher education: economics, finance, accounting
- Min. 4-5 years’ experience in a similar position working with tax accounting based responsibilities
- Preferred: Experience in a shared service environment to deliver compliance based services to multiple locations in different countries
- Communicate effectively (verbal & written) within the department, plant and regional organizations
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel,
- Very good knowledge of English that allows free communication in speaking and writing
- Independence and a very good organization of own work,
