This Irish company will grow locally in Gdańsk from 3 to 5 Scrum teams (from 30 to 80 specialists) and globally from 200 to 700 specialists. Be a part of Customer Driver Development and join passionate team responsible mainly for implementation of new functionalities.
Your new role
You will be involved in early sprint planning and design to line up features that are in a state of readiness to be broken into User Stories that provide business value. As a Lead Engineer you will produce technical specification documents to support a strong implementation. This may include wireframes, UML, data models and diagrams. Moreover, you will be responsible for identify matches to existing product functionality and identify application gaps. You will be responsible for supporting ongoing development of features and provide guidance on design and priority decisions. Providing and enhance product documentation to support future support, extension and usage will be also your daily task.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you should have at least 5 years of experience in Software Development, experience including JEE technologies (JSP, JMS, JNDI, Application servers), strong knowledge of Databases (DB2, Oracle, MS SQL Server) and development tools (Apache Ant, Maven, Eclipse). Earlier experience with middleware and integration technologies (SOAP/ Websphere/ AguaLogic) is also required. Experience in Design or Analyst role would be an advantage. What is more, experience in modelling complex data in a structured and flexible manner using OO Analysis and Design (OOAD) and notation (UML). All work is conducted in English therefore fluency in English is required.
