Eagle’s Instrument Engineering team is a one-stop shop for all complex financial instrument-related questions at Eagle. It is a resource for all departments from sales to development, as well as engaging in direct client support. As a member of the team you will be responsible for fielding questions from clients, prospects, and your colleagues. This requires processing complex securities (with a heavy focus on derivatives) end-to-end in Eagle's product suite; all the way from security setup to trade capture, accounting, investment reporting, and performance analysis. Instrument Engineering is a division of product management and works closely with the other product managers. Responsibilities also include attending sales meetings, leading both internal and external training sessions, visiting clients on site, and testing new features. The ideal candidate will be hungry to learn, have excellent problem solving skills, be a great team player, and show a strong ability to multitask.
As an Instrument Engineering Performance Analyst you will be the team's de facto performance subject-matter expert, helping to vet the performance implications of potential workflows and enhancements. Your focus will be performance at the outset, but will extend to other areas of the Eagle Product Suite as you learn from other members of the team.

What you'll need to succeed
- Solid knowledge of derivative securities
- At least 5 years of professional experience
- Strong understanding of investment performance calculation, analysis, and methodologies used in the market
- Knowledge of Eagle platform would be a strong asset
- Experience performing different performance analyses on various types of derivatives, including both traditional market value-based performance and exposure-based incorporating synthetic cash
- Excellent communication skills with ability to face off with clients and prospects
- Team player – must have ability to work as a member of small team and interact with different groups in the organization
- Background in Eagle Performance and familiarity with SQL are big plusses
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; master’s degree or CFA is preferred
