Laboratory Technician Electrical/Mechatronic

Currently we are recruiting employees for a Laboratory Technician Electrical/Mechatronic.
What to expect:
- Support of laboratory and applications engineers & on-time and cost optimized material and component sourcing with suppliers
- Building prototypes and related electrical/mechatronics components
- Integration of prototype systems on test rigs and battery electric/hybrid vehicles
- Bring-up of prototype systems
- Creation of test plans and test execution on prototype charging systems, maintenance of design and test documentation
- Tracking of components/systems in asset database
- Creation of BOM for prototypes
What we expect:
- technical degree or comparable
- 2+ years of experience in an automotive environment as an electrical consultant or technician in the area of prototype build or production of electrical components and systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpretation of mechanical drawings and electrical circuit diagrams
- Experience with mechanical and electrical work (drilling, soldering, crimping, etc.) & laboratory equipment (e.g. Oscilloscope, LCR meter, electronic loads, etc.)
- Ideally experience with battery electric/hybrid vehicles and related high voltage networks (up to 1000V)
- Pragmatic approach and problem-solving thinking, team player in an international team
- Advanced English skills and good German skills will be an additional asset
