On behalf of our client, international company in automotive industry we are currently looking for Global Knowledge Expert for Motor and Magnetwithin Client's global engineering team of the Interior segment.
As a Knowledge Expert you will be responsible for design concepts, layouts, analysis and simulation, prototype design release, prototype procurement, build and test. You will be also expected to generate new product concepts using various ideation techniques and develop rapid proof-of-concept prototypes for evaluation of new concepts. You will be asked to support process development in order to make sure the newly developed materials are feasible in the Client's, as well as support innovation activities for a certain product range. You will be asked to support cost-saving activities based on internal and external information in order to increase the competitiveness within the segment including VA/VE. You will be expected to drive standards by interpreting and harmonising demands and technical regulations or specifications, from applicable regulations and specifications to the definition and establishment of the Client's specification of the product. Participation in production launch activities together with technical guidance and training of Knowledge Experts and Lead Engineers in all regions are also the core requirements.
To fulfill the requirements you should have experience of Electro-Magnetics design for motors, drives, alternators, actuators and solenoid valves and good knowledge of design tools such as SPEED, Opera 2D, Opera 3D, Flux etc. You should prove experience in design and application of 1 and 3 phase BLDC motors. Magnet knowledge and knowledge on magnet material compositions to make motor and actuator performance adjustments is a must.Experience in working with Automotive OEMs is highly required, as well as fluent English.
