The Key Account Manager (KAM)

- will be responsible for reaching and exceeding the defined sales and profit targets.

- will define and execute his personal sales plan, including targets, sales initiatives and concrete actions.

- will take responsibility of his own accounts including OEM and end-use customers. Besides managing the existing business, the KAM will put a strong focus on acquisition and building new business.w

Client Details

For our client, an international manufacturer and supplier of aftermarket spare parts for machines in the food and packaging industry, we are searching for a Key Account Manager .

Description

  • Builds relationships with current and new customers within key industries and market segments to understand key drivers and priorities.
  • Penetrates current accounts with additional product offerings and opens new accounts through products that meet customer needs.
  • Identify customer's needs and create necessary conditions for sales opportunities to support future growth, nationally and internationally.
  • Ensure that technical problems raised by the customer are properly managed by addressing the message to the right internal functions and on time answers/solutions are timely provided.
  • Defines and meets quarterly and annual account plan focusing on targeted markets and key accounts and prospects. Defines and implements sales strategy to meet plan.
  • Play a key role in bringing in the voice of the customer and promote a customer satisfaction culture through different levels of organization

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Solid experience in Sales department with proved negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience in selling packaging machines or spare parts for machines, will be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of the food production market
  • Result orientation; decisive, pragmatic and goal-oriented. Can take a beating identifies opportunities and takes action independently
  • Autonomous, problem solving oriented
  • Creative and innovative. Looks for opportunities for the organization to improve
  • Experience with remote management / multi sites
  • Fluent Polish and English
